What we collect

Inquiry data. When you submit the contact form or request the Launch Guide PDF, we store the details you provide (name, email, brand stage, message) so we can reply to you. Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

First-party analytics. We record anonymous, aggregate usage events (page views, button clicks) with no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no advertising identifiers. We store the page path, the referrer domain, and the country-level location supplied by our hosting provider. This data cannot identify you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Payments. Sample Kit payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own pages; we never see or store your card details. See Stripe's privacy policy for details.

WhatsApp. If you contact us on WhatsApp, Meta processes that conversation under its own terms.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data, run third-party advertising trackers, or send marketing email without your explicit request. The Launch Guide signup is one-off; any future newsletter would be opt-in.

Retention

Inquiries are kept while your project conversation is live and deleted on request. Aggregate analytics events expire automatically after 120 days.

Your rights

Under GDPR and equivalent laws you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to processing. Email hello@silicon-story.com and we'll act within 30 days.
